Fairview Gardens

is looking for a few good farmstand peeps.



Fairview Gardens is a non-profit educational farm located in the heart of the suburban community in Goleta, CA. We are preparing to open up our store-front farm stand, last open in 2009!! Our goal is to offer up a space in which our community can get the best quality goods around, focusing on local artisans and farmers as often as possible. We are excited to establish our hub of wonder, the farm stand being not only a way to provide a one-stop-shop farm experience, but also a means of educating and welcoming our fellow land-lovers to this space. We are looking to hire 3 (three) clerks to work the farm stand: one full-time and two part-time clerks. To name a few, duties will include customer service, stocking of groceries and vegetables, and receiving orders. Job summery: This individual will oversee all aspects of a profit and service driven catering department while personally prospecting, selling, planning and servicing corporate and social business. This individual will be responsible for the supervision of the Catering/Conference Services function including maintaining and monitoring the accuracy and effectiveness of all written communication from Catering/Conference Services Managers and Administrative Assistants.

Flexible schedule is required and ability to weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Silvergreens Healthy School Lunch Delivery Program

Silvergreens Downtown is expanding our healthy school lunch delivery program and looking for a committed person to join our team. Must have restaurant experience, be fluent in English, reliable, dedicated, and fast-moving. Your driving record must be absolutely clean and you must have a large delivery vehicle in good working condition. You must also be a tremendous multi-tasker and handle stressful situations well, in addition to being able to lift crates of food and Catering equipment. This position will be Monday through Friday from 9am-Noon with ability to gain more hours in-store if you have desire and ability. You must be committed from August until mid-June and be able to work all weekdays during that time (except school holidays). This is a position of great responsibility since you are helping prepare and deliver hundreds of school lunches daily. After bagging and organizing all food according to school and grade you then load up our delivery vehicles (or your own large vehicle) and deliver to a couple of schools from Goleta to Carpinteria each day. When you get to the schools you unload, organize, and display our food and then head out to the next school and repeat the procedure. Customer service is crucial. Please only apply if you meet all of the above criteria and can excel in this fast-pace environment. Executive Director of Meetings and Evens (Santa Barbara/Goleta). The Executive Director of Meetings and Events is responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the Meetings & Events division which is comprised of Conference Services, Catering and Banquets department totaling about 100 Team Members. Responsible for establishing trusting relations with high-end clients by working along side our support departments & vendors to ensure guest satisfaction while meeting the Resort's financial goals.

Job Requirements: Qualified individual MUST HAVE a Minimum of 8 years experience in Executive Director or comparable senior management role at a luxury Hotel / Resort, strong job stability, impeccable references and have a flexible schedule, available to work weekends, holidays and evenings as needed. Minimum education of a B.A or B.S degree in related field is required. Moreover, candidates must be creative and innovative to service high profile clientele in various events including but not limited to: weddings, seminars, retreats and formal celebrations.
