The Inn Crowd with Chef Budi Kazali


Local Hotelier and Chef Budi Kazali will have his own show on local TV Station, KEYT
“The Inn Crowd with Chef Budi Kazali,” which will debut at 6:30 p.m. Saturday (June 30), is a cooking show peppered with a healthy dose of fun, easy gourmet recipes, breathtaking scenery and magnetic personalities, according to Executive Producer Ira Distenfield.

Anyone else catch at 12:31 minutes into The Glades last night a fleeting glimpse of the corner of Canon Perdido and Santa Barbara Street? The J of Julienne restaurant is VERY distinctive. Who knew that Santa Barbara looked like a little Havana part of Miami.

They will be out at the corner of Las Positas and State Street on their annual Fill the Boot drive for Multiple Dystrophy.

RIP, Captain Phil

Phil Harris, captain of the Cornelia Marie of "Deadliest Catch" fame, passed away yesterday.

Captain, thanks for all the adventure on the high, cold seas and for your sense of humour and self and for the classic line "know you know why lions eat their young" uttered after dealing with your feisty sons onboard.

Captain Phil Harris, fisherman in charge of the Cornelia Marie on the popular Discovery Channel show "Deadliest Catch," passed away late yesterday nearly two weeks after suffering a stroke on Jan. 29. - abcnewsblog

Huell Howser was at the Santa Barbara Farmer's Market

and seemed to be really interested in filming a segment of California's Gold out at LaRonna Organic Jojoba's ranch out in Desert Center.

There's no way you can mistake Huell's heavily accented voice, rather imposing presence and boisterous laugh.

Hope he found the Farmer's Market and the Solstice Parade a real "tweet."

Fan Favorite Fabio

to get his own TV show? Oh, my! Gossipsauce is spilling some hot spicey news!
While we’re still mourning Carla’s loss to Hosea in the season finale of Top Chef: New York, we have delightful news that was confirmed to us by the man himself yesterday.

Fabio is getting his own show.

That’s right, Season Five’s breakout star, the Italian Stallion, Fabio Viviani, is coming to a TV screen near you.

Do you hear that?

It’s the faint sound of mouths watering and panties dropping.
