A fire was set in Griffith Park today above the Greek Theatre and spread quickly to the northeastern section of the park, threatening the Los Angeles Zoo and other nearby recreation facilities, officials said. - Latte Times

I heard about this earlier today. Such a tragic thing. Why would someone go and do something like that?? Do you know if they caught the person?

Cookie Jill, you might want to correct your original story, as the police now say it wasn't arson. Most likely the guy was smoking and that was the problem. He was just stupid, not malicious.
