The Great American Dine-Out is coming

and local restaurants Seagrass, Bouchon, Elephant Bar and Woodstocks Pizza are participating in this event to help fight childhood hunger. You can help too...grab some friends and go dine out at these generous restaraunts!

This September 20-26, thousands of restaurants across the country will help Share Our Strength raise money to fight childhood hunger by participating in Share Our Strength’s Great American Dine Out®. And they need your help.

Please DINE OUT in participating restaurants with your family, friends and colleagues from Sunday, September 20 to Saturday, September 26. Find restaurants near you—you can help hungry kids and have fun at the same time. - Share Our Strength

Here are some sobering statistics: More than 12.4 million American children were at risk of hunger at some point last year. That’s 17.2% of all children, or one in six. - Share Our Strength

The Great American Dine Out

September 21st - 28th.

Just by dining out often at participating restaurants you’ll be helping to end childhood hunger in America.

Here in Santa Barbara, Piatti's in Montecito is participating. A couple of restaurants that I enjoy in the Los Angeles area are also participating. Ciudad in LaLa and Il Fornaio in Pasadena. Other favorites that are participating, in San Francisco- PlumpJack in New Orleans - Herbsaint and in Yountville, The French Laundry and Bouchon.
