Good News for Microwave Popcorn Eaters
Sensient Flavors, the flavoring company for a good portion of the microwave popcorns, is agreeing to reduce the use of the "popcorn lung" ingredient.
The trouble all started because of the use of diacetyl, which is used to flavor popcorn and is approved by the Food and Drug Administration, but has been blamed for ill health effects known as “popcorn lung.” - The ConsumeristI don't eat microwave popcorn.
