Hi Cookie Jill, I just wanted to dispel this rumor. After we read about this on your blog, we started eating at Spice Avenue a lot to get in a few buffet lunches before they were gone. We went today and my Boyfriend asked Sunny the owner about this rumor. Sunny let us know that he was approached by a man offerring to buy his business for a large sum of money. He was going to say yes. It turns out the man was a broker of some sort and had no intention of buying the restaurant himself, but ran the ads on craigslist and bizben to find a buyer. Sunny said that the restaurant is definately not for sale any time soon.
I for one am happy since they are the best indian restaurant in town in my opinion
