Eureka Burger

is coming to 601 Paseo Nuevo next year to serve up their gourmet burgers and craft beer. I'm sure that they will have a facebook page soon, like the closest "sister" restaurant, EurekaBurgerSLO

Chef Ron Guidone, the renowned Los Angeles-based exec chef of Talia's and Mangiamo in Manhattan Beach, is behind the innovative menu of fine burger cuisine set to be offered. Should be an interesting addition to Paseo Nuevo.

Ca Dario Pizzeria?

Rumour has it that a pizzeria idea is being cooked up just a couple doors down from Ca' Dario restaurant on the corner of Anacapa and Victoria.

Let's hope that some of the logistical snafus have been worked out as rumour also has it that there are some little snags with local regulations.

Coffee Cat

A little kitty told me that rumour has it that Coffee Cat and Cafe Zoma are perhaps getting their corporate kitty whiskers untangled.

What have YOU heard?

Arlington Tavern

Looks like a new restaurant is opening up in the old HobNob/Epiphany space that has been empty for quiet some time.  However, it seems that it will still have ties to Epiphany as Six Burner LLC is managed by Ron True, the former chef of Epiphany.
